How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2–3 months ahead for the peak season (October to April) and 1–2 months ahead for the rest of the year. We can sometimes arrange last-minute trips, depending on availability.

Can I customise an existing tour?

Absolutely. Every journey on the site is a starting point. Add or remove days, change destinations, slow the pace, upgrade hotels or add special experiences. Tell us what you’d like and we’ll redesign it.

How does the planning process work?

It starts with a short conversation or our online form. You tell us your interests, dates, group size and budget. Within 48 hours we send a detailed itinerary proposal, we refine it together until it’s right, then you confirm and we handle the rest.

Do you offer group tours or only private trips?

Most of our journeys are private, built as tailored itineraries. We also organise group trips for churches, organisations and special-interest groups. Contact us for group pricing and arrangements.

What’s the ideal trip length?

For a first visit, 9–11 days comfortably covers Cairo, the Nile and either the Red Sea or Sinai. For a focused trip, 5–7 days works well. We also design longer journeys of 12 days or more.

Do I need a visa for Egypt?

Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival at Egyptian airports or through the official Egypt e-Visa portal. We send full visa guidance before you travel and our team meets you at the airport.

Is Egypt safe for travellers?

Egypt’s main visitor areas, including Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, are well used to travellers, and tourist police are present at the major sites. We keep an eye on local conditions and adjust plans if needed.

When is the best time to visit?

October to April brings the most comfortable weather, around 20–30°C. Summer (May to September) is hot but quieter and often better value. We plan around the heat and the crowds to suit you.

What should I pack?

Comfortable walking shoes, modest clothing for religious sites (covering shoulders and knees), sunscreen, a hat and a layer for cool evenings. We send a detailed packing guide after you book.

How are domestic flights and transfers handled?

All internal logistics, including flights, private vehicles, drivers and boat transfers, are arranged in advance and included in your package. You never have to sort out transport yourself.

What’s included in the price?

Our prices usually include accommodation, private guided tours, entrance fees, domestic flights, private transport and selected meals. Every itinerary lists exactly what is and isn’t included.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A 30% deposit confirms your booking, and the balance is due 30 days before you arrive.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 60 days before departure for a full refund minus a small admin fee. Between 30 and 60 days: a 50% refund. Under 30 days: no refund. We strongly recommend travel insurance.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer, credit card (Visa and Mastercard) and PayPal. Payment details are shared when your booking is confirmed.

Can I pay in instalments?

For bookings made three months or more in advance, we offer a flexible payment plan. Get in touch and we’ll set up instalments that suit your budget.

What our guests say

A few words from the travellers we’ve hosted.

My husband and I travel extensively, but our one-week trip to Egypt with Goshen Travel has officially become our favourite trip to date. We booked our flights and hotels separately, and Goshen Travel took care of absolutely everything else. We gave them a wishlist of things we wanted to see, and they not only hit every single mark but showed us so much more than we could have ever planned ourselves.

Youssef, Khaled and their wonderful team provided exceptional service, professionalism and genuine care throughout our journey. Their deep knowledge of Egypt’s history and culture made every visit even more meaningful and enriched our experience of this magical country.
